Whistleblowing

The Council’s whistleblowing policy aims to support anyone who works at or with the Council in raising suspicions of wrongdoing as soon as possible in the knowledge their concerns will be taken seriously and investigated while respecting confidentiality. The policy provides guidance on how to speak up with concerns and assures people can raise genuine concerns without fear of reprisals, even if mistaken.
